报告人简介：
Dr. Tiejun Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation at the University of Twente, The Netherlands, since 2009. He holds a PhD in Spatial Ecology from the Wageningen University and a MSc in GIS and Remote Sensing from the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC). His research interests lie in GIS, Remote Sensing, and Ecology, and its applications to biodiversity, ecosystems and conservation. He serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Wetlands. Moreover, he is a member of the Wildlife Society of America, American Society of Wetland Scientists, and the intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Biodiversity Observation Network (BON). Ha has been (co) promoter of 6 PhD thesis. He is currently a daily supervisor of 8ongoing PhD students and 4 MSc students at the University of Twente. He published 33articles in international peer-reviewed journals with a h-index of 12.
