Responsibilities
l Write front-end code in Javascript/ HTML/CSS, and C#/Asp.Net
l Implement new features and optimize existing code
l Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product management, interaction designers, and back-end engineers
l Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
Requirements
l Good programming skills in Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax,
l Familiar with C#/Asp.NET.
l Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
l Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
l Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, IIS)
l Knowledgeable foundation in interaction design principles
l Great written communication and documentation abilities
Preferred:
l Demonstrable works, personal web site
l Familiar with Jquery or another JavaScript framework
l Experience on Java/Ruby/Python, etc.
l Familiar with Unix/Linux/Apache

Responsibilities
l Create smart search engine for smart users
l Define real-time relevance evaluation methodologies for a high volume search index (1M+ queries a day)
l Management and analysis on tons of data to improve search quality and performance
l Design and implement efficient algorithms for ranking search results, filtering spam, personalization, etc.
l Create innovative tools to support rapid experimentation and learning
Requirements
l Familiar with popular relational database: MS SQL server
l Experience writing efficient SQL queries
l Solid experience with C#/.NET
l Solid skill on data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
l Solid design, coding and problem solving skills
l Experience with Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax
l Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
l Familiar with Jquery or another JavaScript framework
l Experience with MySQL, Lucene/Solr

Responsibilities

l Write and interpret complex SQL queries for standard as well as ad-hoc data mining purposes.

The system we are building analyzes large amounts of data from numerous public and private databases to serve clients with a unique set of products and services. We launched our website in March 2006 and since then, we have built our website into one of the most frequented real estate websites in the US, and our users love the website and all the information it provides.
You will develop and maintain Movoto’s development and shanghai office infrastructure, and design and build new infrastructure. You will help to grow a successful real estate internet company by designing, implementing and monitoring the network, servers, applications and databases that power the Movoto website.
